Barb has been in the insurance education industry for 35 years and has experience teaching insurance and securities exam prep, writing content, and developing curriculum.
She helped establish the SILA Education and Training Subgroup (SETS) and serves as a Co-chair. Barb served on the SILA Board from 2013-2021, including SILA President in 2020. She was elected back on the board for 2025 as the President-elect, and she is once again the President of SILA. She has contributed to articles published by the U.S. News and World Report and Pet Priority.
