Join us for our fourth annual fireside chat with the outgoing North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) President, Leslie Van Buskirk, Administrator, Division of Securities, State of Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. Administrator Van Buskirk has served as NASAA’s President from September of 2024 to September of 2025.

Guest: Leslie M. Van Buskirk has been the Administrator of the Division of Securities at the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions since 2016, after serving as an enforcement attorney and supervisor for 14 years. In 2012 she received an Honorable Mention for the 29th Annual Virginia Hart Award for her service to the State of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin statewide Abuse in Later Life CCR.

She served as President of the North American Administrators Association (NASAA) from September 2024 to September 2025. In addition, she served as the NASAA representative on the US Securities & Exchange Commission Investor Advisory Committee from December 2020 until September 2024, with a stint as its vice-chair. Prior to serving on the board, she served for two years as chair of the Broker-Dealer Section after 10 years of section and committee service. She received a NASAA Distinguished Service Award in 2014 for work toward improving securities arbitration for investors. She has also chaired the NASAA Exams Advisory committee.

Moderator: Margie Webber currently serves as a Regulatory Director of Compliance focusing on the securities and insurance industries for RegEd. Margie has served as President of the SILA, Governance Chair, Securities Chair, Securities Industry Subgroup Steering Committee Member, a member of SILA’s Advisory Board, and has served on FINRA’s Licensing & Registration Council, Registration and Qualifications Subcommittee, and she currently serves as Moderator of SILA’s NASAA/State Engagement Task Group and as SILA Foundation’s Compliance Trustee.
