The Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for the eight open Director positions listed below. All positions require the nominee to be an active SILA member for at least three years. Responsibilities for each position are outlined in the job description links.

Qualified members may only run for a single office during this election process. If you are interested in one of the open positions, please submit your request, including your qualifications, resume and a statement from your employer indicating their approval and support of your potential SILA service, to Karen Murphy, Nominations Chair at Karen.Murphy@us.ing.com. Nominations for these open Director positions will be accepted through August 12, 2010.
We also have an open position for a qualified Governance Chair. This position requires the individual be an active SILA member for at least three years. The Governance Chair is appointed by SILA's President and is responsible for overseeing bylaw compliance, making recommendations for bylaw changes and overseeing eligibility issues. This position is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors and a non-voting member of the Executive Committee, except if an Officer is unable to complete their term and until such time that the position is filled as prescribed by the Bylaws.
